Misydral
Semi-intelligent flying reptile with about 1 meter wingspan. Originally used as messengers by the Darsilv, they've come into common use in Iskitaan. When Misydral hatch, the psychically link with their mother. When a trainer is substituted, the link is formed with the trainer. After suitable practice and training, the trainer can impress a picture of a person and location onto the Misydral and they will seek out this person and place, and then return. Capsules attached to the birds backs are used to carry messages to recipients.
