Rama
Rama is the Father of the Gods, and the most widely worshipped god in Iskitaan.
During the reign of the Second Dark Emperor, Rama's priests were persecuted and executed, until there were almost none left. During that period, Rama's power was at its weakest. Since the fall of the Dark Emperor, and the return of the High King, Rama's power has been on the rise. Right now, he is the most powerful he has been since the fall of Enshalla.
His twin brother and enemy is He Whose Name Is Not Spoken (Kram). Rama spends most of his power keeping his brother imprisoned. Rama, though a good god, believes in balance to most things. Evil exists to help men be good. One does not take something without giving something in return. Those who give freely of themselves without expecting anything in return will always receive Rama's goodwill in return. One may be powerful, but one doesn't flaunt their power. Those are the beliefs Rama instills in his followers, but he holds his priests to a higher standard.
Though he grants his clergy many powers, he doesn't believe in giving them the means harm others. He doesn't forbid them from taking up arms against enemies, but he won't allow them to use his power against them. His clergy must always give of themselves to their community when they can, trusting Rama to provide for them.
