University of Alchemy at Nushalla

The University of Alchemy was spun off of the University of Magic around 1100. Arch Wizard Kelkinal realized that alchemy was only being studied as it related to magic, and that it was in reality a whole other field by itself. Originally housed at the University of Magic on Nushalla, it was mostly lost when the island was destroyed.

While the University of Alchemy still exists on paper, it is broken up into many locations now placed in rural areas where any disasters will limit the damage to people and infrastructure. Alchemy students and professors are nominally assigned to the University of Magic campus nearest them.

Gifted Alchemy students are often some of the widest traveled folk in Iskitaan as they move from one remote classroom to another through their university career.
