======The Dafkay Dispute====== 

The dwarven kingdom of [[Kar]] cuts diplomatic ties with Iskitaan due to taxes imposed by [[Ashlan]], where most of their goods traveled through. A series of meetings in [[Dafkay]] finally led High King [[DougallJordanson|Dougall]] to negotiate the tax rate for all goods travelling from [[Karaz]] and [[Karak]], and forbidding the nations bordering the dwarven realms from imposing any additional taxes on goods going to/coming from them.
