A graduate and former Professor of the [[UniversityMersone Univeristy of Mersone]], Val became one of the Disciples of Ascension. Val is perhaps best known for much of the documentation that exists regarding the events around [[CereliaSoards Cerelia Soards']] ascension to becoming the goddess of Justice. Together with her husband, [[ArvinMichaels Arvin]], Val helped found the [[UniversityofCaspary University of Caspary]]. Dedicated to [[CereliaSoards Cerelia]] the university focuses on all knowledge, Magical, Religious, and General.

It was well known that Val kept a Private Diary in addition to the Writings of the Ascension, though no such diary was found among her posessions after her death, there are some students of the University that believe she may have hidden it somewhere on the grounds. Over the years a secret society developed of students searching for the lost diary, known only as the [[LostDiarySociety LDS]].
