Hair: Long wavy brown hair that cascades down her back as well as over her shoulders
Eyes: Brilliant green eyes
Height: 5'10", slender
Taloryn looks primarily Silv but at a closer look it appears that she may be human as well.
Distinguishing Marks: A tattoo that consists of a blue line that has small thin brown leaves that are on both sides of the line. The leaves do not touch the line but appear to look like the tattoo was intended to look like some kind of vine. The tattoo wraps around both wrists ending at the top of both hands. The tattoo looks as if it may continue up the rest of her arm but with her cloak it is hard to tell. Though her hair tends to block the view there are times when this same tattoo appears to be on her neck as well.

Taloryn was born in 1899 to her silv mother Gandalaeberiel and human father Adredelden. Her mother and father met in the very village that Taloryn now calls home, Fallhallow. Though that is not where Taloryn was born and raised. Her mother and father settled and had their family in her father’s home in Mt. Thunder. Taloryn never felt as though she belonged in her human home, so it was decided that it would be best if she left and joined her mother’s silv family in Fallhallow in 1911.
Once in Fallhallow she was taken in by her uncle Elsdon a Larsilv Warrior, but in reality she really felt as if the whole village had taken her in. Everyone had some part in teaching her about her silv culture. For the first time she really felt at home. Though she missed her family very much especially her younger brothers she knew that this is where she belonged.
After her first year in Fallhallow she started training to become a Larsilv Warrior defending her new home along side her uncle with pride. Though apart of the village she had not yet chosen to fully accept her new culture. Thoughts of her old life and her father’s disapproval always weighed heavily on her mind. Her father was always very open to other cultures and ways of life, but she knew that he had always hoped that she would someday find her way back home much like he did when he met her mother and settle down.
Taloryn not only wanted to learn as much about her silv culture as she could she also took a great interest in her family roots and took many trips to Westport to learn about the Gem family.
The village was very understanding of Taloryn’s hesitation to fully accept the silv tradition of heartlines and the silv views of sex and love, it did not mean that she did not have those who took an interest or even tried to get her to feel more open and comfortable with it. Though at times she was tempted to give in to what others wanted her mind always stopped her before it ever went too far. This all changed in 1919 when she learned of her father’s death from her brother who made the trip to Fallhallow to give her the news. After he left to return to his home she made the decision to leave the human life that her father wanted her to live behind and she decided to get her heartlines.
Taloryn left Fallhallow on what seemed to be a simple trip to her family home across the sea for her brother’s wedding. She left not knowing if her family would be accepting of her decision, unsure of whether she was ready to take the next step and truly embrace the silv’s views of sex and love and not knowing that she may not see her home for some time.
