Stacia Thane
(Stah-see-ah)
Born to an elven mother (possibly Darsilv) and a human father, Stacia's mother abandoned her to be raised at the White Tower in Olin at the age of two. Stacia did not have a happy life at the orphanage, though she was treated well. It was there she first began to practice what eventually became her career.
Stacia is a expert at retrieving objects and people. Though many would call her a thief, she doesn't consider herself one. She will not knowingly steal something outright, insisting that her clients give some sort of proof or assurance the objects she is hired to "retrieve" are indeed their rightful property. The same goes for the people she is hired to capture - she will not capture anyone sne believes may be hurt upon their return to the client. She will terminate a job immediately should she learn she's been lied to, sometimes even working for the original victim for free to get an item back.
She does live by her own code:
- I am number one. I come first.
- The highest paying client is number two. He comes second.
- I will not double cross a paying client.
- Killing is the last, and final resort. Violence is to be avoided whenever possible.
- I will only steal those things that are not in the possession of their rightful owner.
- I will not knowingly allow someone to be beaten, tortured, maimed or killed as a result of my actions.
- I will not allow a child to be hurt as a result of my inaction.
- Do what is needed to maintain a disguise.
- Good, fast or cheap - Pick two….
