====**SpellCutter**====

Unarguably the most powerful of the Swords of Fate. The only spells it couldn't nullify or reverse the effects of were those effects of its sibling swords.

After Griswall used SpellCutter to slay the second Dark Emperor, Maddas, Luna used its powers to shatter the horrifying binding spells of Maddas' throne room. Hundreds of tortured souls, bound through the darkest spells of Necromancy, were released by the power of SpellCutter in less than a few minutes. The surge of a hundred years of magic at crossroads of five ley lines through its blade nearly destroyed the sword.

Its blade now warped, and its hilt blackened, SpellCutter is but a shadow of the sword it used to be. The unleashing of SpellCutter at the Dark Rock will have repercussions on the world of magic for years to come. For not only did SpellCutter undo the necromantic bindings on the throne room, it actually moved five ley lines. No longer do five ley lines intersect inside the Dark Rock. Each line was moved over a mile away from the Rock, affecting positions around the world.

The blade still carries the magical aura of a Sword of Fate. Though warped, the blade is still sharp, and the balance still perfect. The sword can no longer affect the direct casting of a spell, but it could, given time, still nullify a spell, or drain power from a magic item that it came in contact with.

SpellCutter currently resides with the Gem family in the Gatelands.
