The Regency of the Order in Taran
At the conclusion of the Briscone Affair in Taran in 1801 and the execution of King Radford II for heresy, the Order of the Dragon's Flame sent the young prince Braxton to be raised by the Order, and held his throne in regency (along with representatives of the Cerelian chuch) for 15 years.
It was a time of prosperity and upward social mobility for the middle class of Taran as the Cerelians and the Order rooted out just about every corrupt noble in Taran.
Prince Braxton was coronated on his 17th birthday (Augyn 19, 1816) as Braxton III, and took control of Taran. He ruled until his death in 1880, and is known as one of the best rulers Taran has ever seen.
