Gabrielle Gem long served as a Sword of Cerelia in the Westport/Gatelands area. It wasn't until a mysterious transfer to Ironhaven that really started her place in history. Gabrielle's transfer served two purposes in the history of Iskitaan. The first was the intentions of her older brother Griswald, who through Pathfinder was given the title as ruler of the Gatelands shortly before her departure, who wanted his sister to settle down and marry well. The second a brief encounter with the ghosts of the companions that helped uncover some of the most treasured and lost artifacts of Iskitaan.
Gabrielle's brother tried desperately to unite his sister with a well know bloodline of Iskitaan without her knowledge by having her deliver sealed messages to several well known families in Ironhaven upon her arrival. Over time she befriended most of her potential suitors even though she never knew that is what they really were. There were even rumors that she had begun to fall in love with one them, Xaver Reaves.
A chance encounter changed what could have been when both Aidin Corvus and Gabrielle were both contacted by ghosts of the companions. This adventure that uncovered the lost swords of fate brought two famous companion bloodlines together. For it was this adventure that brought Aidin Corvus and Gabrielle Gem together. Thus sealing their adventure and marriage into the history of Iskitaan.
