The Dafkay Dispute


The dwarven kingdom of Karak cuts diplomatic ties with Iskitaan due to taxes imposed by Ashlan, where most of their goods travelled through. A series of meetings in Dafkay finally led High King Dougall to negotiate the tax rate for all goods travelling from Karaz and Karak, and forbidding the nations bordering the dwarven realms from imposing any additional taxes on goods going to/coming from them.
