The Cagan-Debara War
From the time of the First Dark Emperor, Debara had always been an agressive nation seeking to expand it's borders and riches. With the Reunification Wars, High King Andrell put a stop to out right agression by Debara. However, during the chaos surrounding the ascension of Cerelia, Debara once again began to aggressively expand. After the situation stabilized, the tiny region of Cagan was given control over many of the lands that had been conquered by Debara under the flag of Caden. By 1111, Debaran leadership felt that High King Dougall had gone too far, and launched a campaign to reclaim what they felt was rightfully their territory, going to war against Cagan.
The war only lasted 3 months, when High King forces siezed the port of Argen, Debara's capital, and High King Dougall threatened to banish the entire Debaran nobility and turn their territories over to Cagan.
