She was raped by a nobleman's son named Tirek shortly after her 16th B-day. Fearing no one would believe her, she kept quiet. Emboldened by her silence, Tirek raped her best friend, Wendi three weeks later.
Wendi slipped into a dark depression, and killed herself when no one believed her. Determined to make Tirek pay, Brianna devised a plan - she told Tirek she was pregnant and blackmailed him. She intended to use the money to learn how to fight so she could kill him herself. However, after he paid up the first time, she realized she could continue her "pregnancy" and get more out of him, then kill him. Her plan went astray when another nobleman's daughter accused Tirek of improprieties, and he was shipped off to school in Mersone.
Brianna met Jordan of the Disciples of the Ascencion, and through him became a travelling companion of the Disciples for a time. She later left their company, and joined the Nishellans. She was later to become their leader, and reformed the descent and decline the organization was undergoing, turning it into a respected organization for justice.
