Bracken was born during Volrath's reign as ruler of the [[Gatelands]]. Actually Bracken was Volrath's bastard son, whose mother's identity was never discovered. Out of nowhere Volrath just claimed Bracken as his son. When Volrath died Bracken was choosen as the [[Gatelands]] new ruler. However, his rule only lasted two years when he was discovered dead one morning by one of his advisors. His death still remains a mystery in the [[Gatelands]].
