Arnthora Grieves Gem was the mother of [[ShamiraGem Shamira Gem]] the current ruler of the [[Gatelands]]. Arnthora gave birth to [[ShamiraGem Shamira]] later in life which left her very weak and she never fully recovered. This weakness caught up with her a couple of years after [[ShamiraGem Shamira's]] birth and she died leaving her son and daughter in the care of her ailing husband.
