======Aradhai======

CategoryCleanup //this page needs to be cleaned up//

High in the [[GreythernMountains Greythern Mountains]], this Elven community is a major trading post between Iskitaan and the [[Cersilv]].

Once a sleepy little village in an out of the way place, Aradhai first became known to the rest of Iskitaan as the birthplace of the Companion [[JothamAgajan Jotham]]. But even after [[JothamAgajan Jotham]] and the Companions became household names in Iskitaan, Aradhai remained the same sleepy little village it had always been.
It wasn't until after the [[ReunificationWars Reunification Wars]] ended that Aradhai became known for anything more. [[NealtheWhite Neal the White]], son of the wizard [[Kelkinal]], began using the village as his base camp in his dealings with the [[Ricsilv]]. By 1072 Aradhai had become the first and only place where one could trade with the legendary [[Cersilv]] via their allies the [[Ricsilv]].
As word of the opportunity spread, the road between Aradhai, and the closest port towns of [[Dranor]] and [[Clayden]] became heavy with merchants seeking new markets and goods. The little village of Aradhai quickly became a small town, filled with human and elven traders alike.
In 1080, the Dwarven [[KingGelyon King Gelyon]] sent several members of the Dunnan clan to Aradhai to investigate any trading opportunities for the dwarven people. While the trading opportunities weren't much more than the dwarves enjoyed via other conduits, the Dunnan clan did discover gold nearby. In less than three years, Aradhai underwent another population boom, and before long, boasted a dwarven population to rival that of the humans and elves.
Now Aradhai boasts the single most cosmopolitan population in Iskitaan, with almost equal numbers of dwarves, elves and humans. It is an eclectic collection of elven tree houses, the stone and timber houses of humans, and dwarven tunnels. A major trade center in its own right, the small town now boasts no less than six inns and four taverns, where any interested in trade (or adventure) typically begin or end their deals.
